· Introduced by the University of Saskatchewan; native to Siberia
· Taste like a sweet wild huckleberry; my favorite jam!
· Early season flowering and berry (June)
· Full Sun and rich well-draining soil. Much more adaptable than blueberry
· 48” T x48” W
· Tundra Haskap requires cross pollination so best to plant in multiples including different varieties
· Low maintenance and quite deer resistant; they have not really bothered mine in a unprotected area
