· Largest NATIVE fruit producer in the U.S. Native to Michigan (Paw Paw MI). Is not regularly found this far north so no guarantees of success
· This understory tree thrives because deer do not like the flavor and thus do not browse
· Paw Paw Is NOT a self-pollinator
· Grows as either a single trunk tree or a multi-stemmed bush depending on sunlight. It reproduces by sucker
· Full Sun location, slightly sheltered from strong winds; rich consistently moist soil; will also grow in partial shade
· Can grow to 30’ H x 20’ W depending on sunlight
I recommend doing more reading on growing and harvesting the delicious late season fruit
