Old Field Juniper

· The namesake of our nursery!

· NATIVE shrub largely responsible for the stabilization of our beautiful dunes

· Low growing spreading habit; 3’ H x 10’W. Very Slow Grower!

· Grows in Rocky-sandy, infertile slopes in full sun; also, on the edge of woodland areas such as Jack Pine; does well in open windy locations

· Old Field Juniper provides cover for nesting birds and small animals

· Berries are used in the production of Gin
