Hairy Beardstongue


· Great NATIVE – natural pollinator for bumble bees and the larval host to the Baltimore Checkerspot Butterfly


· 12” H x 18” W. Spreads by seed, not rhizome – therefore, a clumping plant


· Prefers dry well-draining soil (sandy mix) in full sun


· Hairy Beardstongue is an excellent Choice for Rock Gardens


· Small tubular white flowers bloom in early summer


· Blooms the second year after seeding


· Can be divided every 3 years or seeds spread in the fall in desired locations
