Cardinal Flower

· Here’s a very hardy native perennial for that woodland location –great border!

· Bright Red flower spikes on top of upright clumping dark green foliage; flowers late summer early fall

· Cardinal Flowers prefer partial shade with woodland conditions with rich, moist well- draining soil; 30” H x 24” W

· Absolute hummingbird magnet with bright red flowers, also attractive to bees and birds for seed

· Deer and rabbit resistant – not first choice; trim back in early spring
